This may be in the wrong forum but I didn't see one specifically for PS.

Anyways, I'm going to build a new comp and am looking around for a good PS for under $30. Hoping to get a 400w supply.

Any suggestions?
 
You'll be hard pressed to find a good quality PSU for $30 or under.
Here is a decent one from Raidmax : 400 Watt P4 Power Supply w/dual Tri-LED Fans
There are others with probably higher so called wattage but they will usually be very cheaply made and not worth buying in the long run.
Raidmax,Enermax,Zalman,Antec,TTGI,Sparkle,Forton and PC Power and Cooling are some of the best names in the industry, the latter being the king of all PSU's period but at a price !
