I didn't want to just add this to my previous post for fear it would get buried and not answered.

Here is my understanding:
It doesn't really matter that your PSU is 350W or 400W or whatever, as long as it can deliver lots of amps on the + 12v line.

For instance, my 400W generic PSU slowly eeks out a mere 16a at + 12v, but the 350W Enermax I was looking at just now can kick out a whopping 26a.

So, I can feel good about getting the 350W Enermax and be assured that it will handle my system well?

Epox 8k9a, T-bred 1700+, Volcano 11, SB Live Value, GF4 Ti4200, 2 7200rpm hdd's, 2 disk drives, 4 generic 80mm case fans, 1 120mm case fan, 1 UV light (soon to be dual lights).

The Enermax won't have any trouble with that system. The 26A on 12V is quite non-typical and I suspect that's part of the reason that the 3.3V + 5V combined max is relatively low... Enermax biased towards 12V output.

Anyway, I use an Enermax 365-series at home and my main gripe is simply that it runs too loud to be a "whisper" power supply. Mine's the model where the rear 80mm is powered by a 3-pin plug and the bottom 92mm is thermally-regulated.

Very good. I'm not worried about noise with my pc now (I'll save that excuse to buy new stuff for later :)), and the 365 is exactly what I was looking at.
