Currently I have a P3 450, 128MB, NIC and 40GB HD, thats it. I have a 400 watt Power Supply running it but its pretty loud. I have a smaller Power Supply, rated at 110 watts thats super quiet. Do you think I'd have any problems using that to run the box? I intend to run the machine 24x7, so I'd like it to be stable as well as quiet...

any other drives/cards installed?

i would say that 110W would not be enough. you may get it to run, but i seriously doubt it would be very stable.

Nope, just the Board, CPU, NIC and 40GB. No Optical or Floppy drive...

If you intend to run the machine 24-7, you should get a decent power supply.
110w might be enough for PIII, but I wouldn't recommend anything smaller than 200.
HDD eats power, especially if it's 7200RPM.

I guess I'll just keep the 400 Watt in there then. I originally had a 300 Watt in there, but it died while I was building. I could probably transplant the fan if anything...
