Nope, that was the fist thing that crossed my mind. Figured that it would take a big shock to F up 3 actuators.

ok. with some toyotas and lexuses if you disconnect the battery you have to "reset" all of the power windows and lift gate when you replace it. just making sure it's not this situation

I missed your pun. Could you clarify. Thanks.

not pun. it has to do with remembering the range of operation. I have to reset the power windows and sunroof on my car too after replacing the main battery.

yeah... wasn't trying to make a joke or anything. just trying to see if you ran into the same thing that i experienced when i replaced my battery on the rx350. a quick look at the manual solved it for me

I have a problem that I can not solve. I think this is a setting somewhere where I don't know how it was set. Looking over the manual, it seems they have alot of strange sequences to toggle settings.

All problems are identical with the power lock switch on the door and the remote control.

The lock functions works fine. Locking locks all doors including the hatch (back door) works fine.

The unlock function will however only open the driver side door and rear hatch. The passenger door remains locked along with the two sliding doors. The one power sliding door we have works fine once unlocked.

How did this happen and how do I fix it?

Did you ever figure out what happen? My just got the same problems too

One day, it just startng working again. I think it is an electrical problem in the driver side door. From memory so be warned: The power lock distribution all comes from the driver side door.

I think there is a loose wire in the driver side door. Or corrosion? Not sure. One day everything just started working again. Been a year now where it just works again. If it breaks again, I'm going to the dealer.

I tried all sorts of setting that can be assigned through a horrible interface mechanism that the manual outlines. That process managed to make the default settings stupid but not bothersome enough to change back. I really need to do a reset but I am too lazy to fix it. Too many things going on in life where that is below low priority.

Glad to hear your system is working again. We've just had the same problem on a 2008 Sienna. We "think" we've tracked it to the "Body Control Module" which is different than the CPU. It is programed to handle the doors, locks, and windows among other things. If that program gets corrupted (spike, brown-out, etc) it needs to be reprogramed. Like others have reported, we go through batteries, and think that one of these dead battery incidence resulted in the program corruction.

Our Toyota dealer will run a diagnostic and reprogram it for $69. Keeping our fingers crossed at this point.

BTW: The system needs to be down at the time of the diagnostic.

Ya, working fine.

Now the problem is that I changed how the doors auto-unlock when I was trying to fix it. So now when I turn the car off only the driver side door unlocks. Super annoying. And changing the setting is a combination of button presses on the windshield wiper controls or something. I was so frustrated, I never fixed the settings.

Bothersome but I am used to it at this point.
