i need a replacement power LED (ATX). what are the standard specs (voltage, current) on the ATX power LED header? also, would i damage the motherboard if i extended the power LED cables by about 1.5 meters? TIA
There is no specification, it's totally up to the motherboard manufacturers what the headers output. It will tell you in your motherboard's manual. Most manufacturers though are using +5V headers and then the individual case manufacturers use 3mm-5mm LED's and sometimes employ a 470ohm inline resistor if needed.
