I'm having some issues powering on my new rig and I'm about ready to go crazy. First off, the mobo is a Asus P5N-E SLI and the power supply is a Corsair HX520W. I plug in the power supply and the led on the mobo turns green, but when I try to power the system up, nothing happens. I have messed with the system panel connector and tried just about every way, but nothing happens after a couple hours of trying to power it on. I have tried w/ and w/o the Q-Connector, and both ways nothing happens. Has anyone had similar issues or does anyone have a solution?

Could this be at fault of the mobo, the power supply, or what?

Are the fans for the CPU and north/south bridge fans turning?

You must connect a harddrive as the power supplies out ow need to "feel" a pull for power to turn the PC on.

You have a vidoe card in too right?

We need a little more info! Dont assume its the mobo or PSU yet!
Try the above and let us know
