Good deals!

Anyone ever price the 'car convertors' that IBM recommends for their laptops?? :Q :Q

These suckers will power a laptop or a small TV or a coffee pot or a pneumatic jackhammer ....no, wait - I don't think it will power the jackhammer. Sorry! :(

NEED HELP:

OK, here's the situation: I'm traveling to Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, etc) this summer. I'll be in a car a lot. My question is, can I use this for cars over there, to power my laptop? Does anyone know?

I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could tell me.

And also, where can I get the tape adapters that plug into laptop headphones and into the car cassette deck so I can play my MP3s in the car? Again, anyone who knows whether or not I can do this for cars over there, please LMK.

Thanks!

The tape deck adapters are available at Radio Shack and all autos with 12 v. common ground should work with the inverter.

Before you decide that these are such hot deals on inverters, let me say this....

I was shopping at my local Menards Hardware Store today and I noticed that they sell a 300watt inverter by Roadmaster.

I said to myself RoadMaster? Never heard of them!

I opened the package and it is identical to the SIMA 300watt inverter sold through Best Buy for $79.99.

Both units contain (2) outlets, an internal cooling fan and an on/off switch. It comes with a cigarette lighter adapter or clamps for hooking directly to you battery.

For $29.99, you really can go wrong.

Also, Menards has a great return policy.
I have purchased months ago that I lost track of and had forgotten that I had purchased. I returned them with no problems.(with my receipt)
