Power Gel

I'm looking for something to give me a nice energy boost during hockey. I dont really want any energy drinks because they typically give me the shakes, so I heard about this Power Gel stuff. It seems like it may do the trick. Anyone have any experience with it?

Never used Power Gel, but when I was cycling a lot I used Gu during my rides. IMHO, not the greatest thing in the world to squeeze a packet of toothpaste in your mouth, but it definitely works. Banana Blitz is a good flavor :thumbsup:

Yeah, Gu looks to be the same type of product. Maybe I'll give it a try tonight at my game

Oh yeah, if you get the shakes, some places (cycling shops for sure) will carry a caffeine-free Gu also. Lots of simple sugars, no shakes :beer:

Squeeze the gel into a shot of jager and chug.
