I'm looking fo a new Power Supply to replace a 300W dud, the best I can find locally is a 250W model. Will the 250W model supply enough power to run a 1.2GHZ T-Bird on an EPOX 8KTA3 Motherboard? Thanks for any advice that you can give:)

Uh...i think you should get a 300 W...just to be safer. If you're planning on OCing...then you need a higher PSU...something more like 400 W or more.

If you're OCing...i recommend enermax 431 W psu...
if not...then Antec 300 W.

Thanks, Id really like a 400W but where I live the best available is 250W. I can get a 400W by mail but it is US$80 which seems a bit expensive, it is also listed as Pentium 4 compatible, do Athlon and Pentium Motherboards use the same Power Supplies?

You are defenitely on the safer side with both a 400W and P4 compatible power supply! The latter just means, that there are additional power cords for the P4, so you are actually more flexible. Personally I can recommend the 431W Enermax ps, does its job very well with my TBird@1500.

Thanks for the tip, I guess I'll spend the extra cash for the 400W just to be on the safe side:)
