Just go down to RadioShack, and get one of their universal adapters; you should be able to get either an exact fit, or a universal one with different power/size options.

Do you have one of the old style with three pins in a triangle arrangement?

no it's just a regular one. all the universal adapters i saw online said they made dc power from ac, but i need to make ac power right? i called radioshack and they said they didn't have any power adapters that would work with a linksys router.

Could you possibly scan the label on the Linksys' power block and post a pic for us to check out? It should operate on DC power, so ViRGE's suggestion is a good one, we just need to not rely on RadioShack as a reliable source of information here :D

You can get 4 port wireless routers for under $20 with rebates and junk, I would just look to buy a new one

Whoa, 9V AC output?!

Maybe call Linksys and ask if they sell those, because I'm drawing a blank. Or declare it "not worth your time" and look for a hot deal on a new one like was suggested :)

You have to be careful here as Linksys seems to change their product revision and power supply on a weekly basis! For example, there are 12V WRT54G's and 5V WRT54G's. Luckily, the barrels are different sizes!

Cheers!
