Power Briefly Goes Out, PC Reboots

The other day there was a power outage. The outage was brief but still long enough that all the clocks had to be reset. My computer shutdown during the outage, but when the power came back on it booted back up! Why would my computer reboot and not shutdown?

Check your BIOS. there's a setting in most where you can specify whether the computer should reboot on AC Power Loss or remain off. Useful for a server or something, I would imagine.
