I got my evga 8800 gtx ko today and I popped it into my machine and used the FSP Booster 3X to power my video card.
After the whole installation process, and the rebooting I got a message saying to prevent damage to my card the cards performance was slowed down.
Now, the FSP Booster 3X says it has 360 watt max peak, and I used it previously to power my Quad sli setup with no problems.
So with that message, I powered down and hooked up the PCI-E connectors on my OCZ Powerstream 520 watt and I get no error message.
anyone know the max power consumption on the evga 8800 gtx ko ?
