10 days in, the Bush administration disengaged from the Israel/Palestine peace effort and the work to begin drafting plans for an Iraq invasion was begun.
 
You're right, Conjur, and I'm not disputing that, All I'm saying is that w/o 9/11, those plans probably never would have come to fruition- Congress and the American people wouldn't have gone for it... It was the hurt, shame, fearmongering and thirst for r@ghead blood that made it all possible.

I could quote Robert Burns, but I'm sure you already know that one...
