I think you cheerleaders are overblowing what was said. But sure, whatever, support a Republican.:) Both McCain and Powell are supporting Bush. Heck, McCain is even campaigning for him.

It's fun to see you all latch on when it's politically convenient though:p

Who's latching on to anything?

Many of us long respected Powell before he became a lap-dog of Bush, a facade of diplomacy. And, I wanted McCain to get the nomination in 2000. I'd love to see the GOP toss Bush aside and nominate McCain at the convention!

You for one and you just admitted it. You respected him and then hated him, and now all of a sudden you are latching onto him again(albeit possibly with some reservations). It's like the Buchanan thing too. Bitch and moan about his hardline stuff and then suckle when he posts anti-war piece.:p He's been an isolationist for quite some time...if you all haven't figured it out;) Anyway - it's fine with me if you want to continue the love then hate then love relationship with political figures.:)
In the end - both are supporting Bush in this Election.

Good for Powell for admitting the Administration's mistake. But he's still a scoundrel. He ignored his own Powell doctrine, misled the country, and blindly followed an idiotic and dangerous head-of-state (Bush). He deserves no respect from Americans.
