Potty training

probably around 2 - 2 1/2 for both kids. It's a great feeling when you don't have to buy any more diapers.
 

Our kids were all closing in on 3 years old when they finally were "trained".

I think it can depend on how comfortable they are allowed to be. The disposable diapers are so absorbant that our kids really had no reason to want to learn. We pretty much had to prod them into regular underwear, and the first couple of "accidents" were unpleasent enough to motivate instant learning.

There are some good reasons not to push too hard too early. By 2 to 3 years, they'll have developed enough to avoid uncontrolled "accidents" and bed wetting.

Child #2 @ 22months (Girl)
Child #3 @ 24months (Boy)
Child #4 is 12months (Girl) not potty trained (walking @ 9months).

*What I consider "Potty Trained" is the ability to take care of business w/out any assistance or supervision AND to know when to tell Mom & Dad when things just don't go right (too much toilet paper in the bowl, a bum that didn't quite clean up alright, clothes that aren't cooperating etc).

Definitely looking forward to the cost of diapers being a thing of the past!
However, school activities outweigh any baby expenditures to be sure!
