Anyway, if a webmaster doesn't like someone hotlinking his images and replaces them with porn or nasty stuff, will the user who posted it be reprimanded, or how will this be handled?

Yet another reason to disable inline images. We went 10+ years without. Why the hell does AT have to sell out and join the ranks of just about every other crap forum out there?

Maybe AT doesn't want to be left alone and be the only forum that's professional and different than others. Anyway users can opt out of viewing images in the User CP if needed. I think that's fair enough.

Plus since there are 3x more moderators than AT staff, spotting images that break the rules shouldn't be hard this time.

I don't see the problem with images, but users who post them should be responsible for ensuring that whatever shows up is acceptable.
