Lol. Yeah people will be selling a bundle worth twice what they paid for it. That's gonna happen.

Food was crap in my opinion. Lots of it, but tasted like your low end caterer. My fathers company holds an Xmas lunch for several hundred agriculture workers (hardly the most valued employees) run out of a trailer that was at least as good as the food there.

Truth be told I have lost all respect for AMD as a company I went to the Houston show and was very glad to hear that I would be able to purchase the desktop combo. Lo and behold it's pretty much august already and still no email from them. AMD SUCKS!!!!

^ I got that e-mail as well (Toronto.) Good if you missed out, but it's not as hot as before, as the prices came down.

Got the ASUS bundle at the Santa Clara show.
Went to put my Asus board together (after finally getting memory, PCI-E video, etc.) Primary IDE port didn't recognize anything. Sent it to ASUS for an RMA. Got an email back stating that the corner was damaged and I need to send then $60 for a replacement board. What BS!

If anyone can still get a server bundle and doesn't want it, please PM me. I did get one for myself from another member but one of my friends at another company now wants one too. If you have the chance to getone and want to sell it to me please PM me.

Does anyone have a show code they aren't using? I attended the Tech Tour but I changed my email address and no longer have access to my old account. =(

Would appreciate it if someone could PM me a code.

Thanks.

they appear to be shipping out the K8SE rather than the advertised board, which is nice, by far a nicer more robust board. If you can get on it, I would do it...I got on 2 of the server bundles

I forgot what the receit looks like and who the reseller was that they used for the event.

I also got the email and ordered both the desktop and server bundle today even though I picked up both bundles at the show! :D

People dont be fools and give these code away for free or for just a few dollars. These codes are worth at LEAST $50. No less.
