Potatoes+Olive Oil+Onion soup mix =

I find red potatoes to be the best for this, but any kind will do.

5-6 potatoes, cut them any size you wish. Mix the potatoes with 2 tbs of olive oil. Add one pack of onion soup mix. Mix well.

Spray baking pan with non-stick spray. Evenly spread the potatoes on pan.

Bake at 425F for 30-35 minutes. Enjoy.

Buy a cheap potroast and throw it in a deep baking pan. Toss in some chopped up spuds, a whacked onion, some chopped up carrots and a bunch of mushrooms. Mix 2 packages of onion soup mix in two cups of water and pour over the whole thing. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and stick in oven at 275F for 3 hours.

Ever try that recipe with a pressure cooker? Pressure cookers own!

It has been quite a few years since I have owned a pressure cooker. They are great for a lot of things, including tough, cheap and tasty meats.

I may consider picking up another one since I cook for the family most nights after work.

I use Campbells Cream of Mushroom soup instead of fresh 'shrooms, but otherwise make it almost exactly the same way. It's a great way to make cheap cuts of beef into a tasty meal.
