dell 600m, built in 802.11b/g

its hitting the harddrive a lot, i wonder if thats the build in dell apps or because the half gig of memory i ordered hasn't arrived yet and i'm using a piddling 256?
 
1 dead pixel but a quick rub fixed that. keyboard isn't flimsy, the wavy problem isn't there... maybe thats all been fixed? i'd kill for a scroll wheel tho. think i'm gonna go buy a mouse at fry's. brb.
 
sweet...i just got a new laptop as well...that compaq one..of course not nearly as nice as centrino ones...but 1400x1050 as well.....xp2400+ athlon-m....blahblabhalbhab ...sucks power...my avg battery life is about 2 - 3 hours.. =(...nice 11g....mine only came w/ 11b imbedded...

oh i can ping it alright and my roommate can log into it from his box but windows xp changed the networking scheme from how win2k did it and i never bothered figuring it all out.

it says "\\screamer is not accessible. you might not have permission to use this network resource. contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have permissions."

Nice laptop. I just bought a Sharp Actius, it weights 4.5 lbs. This is easier to carry than my Compaq 1510T, though not as powerful. BTW I am selling my Compaq 1510 in FS forums if anyone needs a used lappy in excellent condition 😀
 
ok fixed that i had to create a password.

bah, win2k's user management was so much better.
