Posting from my new 18" LCD! But having ICQ problems... :(

My ICQ problems are unrelated to the LCD. Or at least I have absolutely no idea how they could be related.

I keep getting "Visual C++ Runtime Error"s after having ICQ open for a couple of seconds.

I downloaded and reinstalled the latest version as well as restarted my comp.

Any ideas?

Nice monitor. Sorry can't help with the ICQ problem but you gotta appreciate a LCD of that size. 😉

Actually I had some wierd problem when I installed my KDS Rad-9. Can't remember what it was though. 🙁
As for ICQ try moving out the db, uin, 200xA or 200xB folders, then reinstall it. If it runs you have a corrupted database. If not, try the latest version.

That's the funniest thing I've ever heard. 🙂

The only complaint I have is dark colors are a bit "bright", but anything other than black or dark purple looks glorious on my LCD... much better than on either of my CRTs or the enhanced UXGA on my laptop.

Run the database repair? or the converter? One of those two worked for me, I think I found the info on these boards to fix that problem. Icq told me to do something else, but running what I ran fixed it. Try those.
