It doesn't have a rear facing camera.

Or an HDMI out, I bought my wife one last X-mas, still a nice tab IMO, buttery-smooth if you can live with the shortcomings (no memory exp, no camera, no HDMI). Hell if your spending the cash to vacation in Maui by a dedicated digital camera, even a cheap one will be tons better than any phone or tablet camera.

Where are you getting $55 dollar laptops, dad? Or is it 10 years old? 😀

Well, Son, it is actually a $10 Laptop!
I felt kinda embarrassed to put $10, so I put down what I just paid for another just like it this morning.
Yeah, they're older laptops, I don't game at all or Multi-task much, so for what I need ~1.5-2 Ghz. w/ 2 Gigs RAM suits me. Runs XP, Firefox, PhotoShop, etc. just fine.
Currently using an old HP/Compaq nc6220 I pieced together. Had another one with a bad MoBo given to me, bought a complete base, MoBo, etc. on eBay for $10 shipped!
Put my LCD on it, swapped the Hard Drive & RAM, still using it.

Been using nc6000s for the past 5 years, most all bought here on FS/FT, mostly from one trader, give anywhere from $40-$80 each for them (I have 5!), but I got this nc6220 a few months back & been using it since I fixed it.

If I was in Maui, I sure as hell wouldn't be posting on ATOT from a tablet.

We'll I am sitting on my balcony right now, just got back from Honolulu as I had to work 1 day, actually 4 hours. One thing I have to agree on is the camera on this suvcks. What moron designed a camera to face you!

Just think if the tablets in StarTrek were made by the Maui company, you could post from the Nexus on your Maui 7. :awe:
