Haha, this is funny. Just installed Win95B and it had IE3 preinstalled. God everything looks like crap. Fusetalk still works tho.
 
Yikes... I might have Netscape 4.71 around here somewhere for you... unless you like that retro thing. Maybe you want Netscape 3.x?

Looks like 5.5 is the oldest version you can d/l from M$. Might want to search elsewhere to see if you can find it.

i've got XP running on an old p3 500 mhz, and it runs really good. I'm not sure why you felt like you needed to install 95.
 
NT4 should kind of work on a 486. i think i used to run it on mine a few years back (well.. should work better than 9x at least)

IE2! I tried usin it once but sites weren't even functional. and that was a few years ago too.
 
i just meant that NT4 owns Win9x.

you'll still have to find IE5 or 4 for NT4.. its around somewhere.

i think when you instal SP6 it gives you IE4? i don't recall.. really..

because I wanted to use mostly dos. also I want to be able to play games like C&C 95. It doesn't work w/ 2k or XP.
