Neat.

You had a typo, but nothing is perfect, right? ;) I have heard that it's pretty sweet. I can't wait to get my hands on one.

Hows the battery life. I'm thinking of upgrading to one from my clikc whell ipod, but if battery life is poor then it's a no go.

You can only get around 3 hours of WiFi usage on the Touch. And yeah, the browsing experience on the Touch as compared to other portable devices is unmatched.

:(

My Dad really wants one and my brother and sister want to go in on one, but I just can't afford my $130 share this winter.

The Ipod touch is by far the coolest mp3 player ever. 8GB is plenty of space for me, though more would be better so I could load seasons of tv shows on it.

Is it really only 3 hours of WiFi? I get about 3 days of WiFi enabled access on an iPhone (just sitting on but not browsing) and well over 3 hours browsing. I spent over 3 hours the first night browsing and watching you-tube videos... the phone got pretty warm, but the battery was still over halfway.

I guess the iphone battery is bigger than the iPod touch? The phone's thicker... guess they spent a lot of the space on the battery.

I remember reading that they had crippled the battery so the touch wouldn't compete well with the phone. Going from 3 days to 3 hours seems pretty bad.

Yes,
It actually comes with a youtube app installed so you can browse youtube without having to go through Safari.
