Poster board: what are the dimensions of this product?

I'm designing a conference poster for my boss, and the conference organizer insists that each presenter bring materials to be pinned or taped to this tri-fold poster board from Office Depot.

The item description is kind of vague, just saying that it is 36" x 48". I am guessing that it is 36" tall and that it has a 24" wide middle section and a 12" wide section on each end. Does this sound right?

i would say yes except in the image it looks like the middle section is more than twice the width of the end section.

edit: ah, maybe not. maybe it's just the angle of the photo. not sure

EDIT: Unless that's some weird poster board, the two flaps should close and fully cover the middle area, meaning 12", 24", 12" width.
 
Yeah, sounds right... but if you are uncertain, just visit and office depot and find out.

It could be that the product is 36" x 48" FOLDED... but in the end that thing would be ginormous.
