When you were 18, you might have to hound a girl for 4 weeks to get her to hang out with you.
When you're 28, they'll drop their panties right in the frozen foods section if you wink at them. By this age, women aren't as interested in the hunt as they are the payoff. Keep in mind that they're also approaching their sexual prime. So not only are they tired of the games they've been playing for the last decade, their biological clocks are in 5th gear.
Be confident but not overconfident. Leave the whole "playa" routine at the door. Be clean, shaven, and show that you can dress yourself.

As far as "where": anywhere. I've never been much of a "clubber", but then again, I was never interested in the type of girl I'd meet in a club anyway (minus a few one-nighters after the breakup I described earlier). Grocery stores and gas stations are GOLD MINES. I'm married and make no attempt to flirt with anyone, and every once in awhile a woman will start keying in to me just because we struck up a conversation while filling up our cars.
Public parks are another good spot. Community activities. The list is endless... and contrary to popular belief, post-college dating is much easier than when you were in school .
