Postal rates to go up june 30th.... :(

seems like i'll be using fedex alot more now, since i've set up an account with them and can print out labels online then just drop them off without waiting in line...and ground is alot cheaper than USPS Priority for heavier packages
If you want to be patriotic ( 
) you can buy a special 9/11 stamp now that sells for 45c, good for first class and the other 8c gets donated to relief funds.

I wish they'd just raise the rates up to some even amount, like 50 cents or so and leave it like that for 10 years. No increases, no buying 1 cent stamps. This is getting stupid each time. Just make one big increase, and leave it alone!

there aren't three cents stamps but there are 1 cents stamps. So i guess you gotta buy three of them... Doh!
And also the postal rates now suck that, now its ZONED after certain amount of pounds..
Oh wel this sucks for the Hawaii, Alaska & PR people and even people sending cross counrtry like from San Diego Californoa, to the top of Maine or something....

The USPS is the worst managed organization around. I used to work for them. Thank God I quit before I went postal. Have you ever heard of a company that gives bonuses to managers even when the company is losing money.

I guess it's going to $0.37.
Still a hell of a bargain if you ask me.

nah.. you should see the new USPS priority rates, its gonna hurt a lot of us from the FS/FT forum + eBay
for instance, something like 30 pounds would cost maybe $25 to Zone 1 (So. Cali) but to Zone 8 (New York, Florida) itll be like $55!!!!

I think the rate hikes were in planning before 9/11, or at least in the initial stages of it. I could be wrong, but I think the beforementioned reasons are more likely, although the anthrax and associated costs dont help.
this is soo stupid, i hate this sh*t, i can't stand buying f*cking 1cent stamps. this is such sh$t!!!
