Postal 2

postal 1 was a classic, and rated one of the top 10 most contoversial games in PC gamer. i dont think that postal 2 looks that cool though.
 
I have played the demo of Postal 2, and it is freakishly hilarious..... I never knew I could laugh so hard at hitting a woman's head like a golf ball, with a shovel...... EDIT: Then having a dog fetch it for you!

So should primetime television be banned too? WWE Wrestling? CSI? CNN? They all show bad violence.
 
It's incredibly funny, but unless you have a top of the line computer don't get it. You will spend minutes on end waiting for the levels to load (they take forever) and sometimes you will wait a minute for a level to load, walk for about 10 seconds and have to wait another minute for the next level to load. Not fun...

Good idea, think I'll try out the demo first.
 
Downloaded and played the demo. Theyre living off the reputation of the first postal game. This game blows, nothing new, nothing different. Just repetitious violence and anarchy.

Note: if you like games like GTA3 where all you do is constantly run around a world murdering and committing violent acts then you will probably like this game.


Not my bag, I like more of a challenge I guess...

This is exactly how I feel. You can do some very cool things and some of the weapons are actually quite fun and original the game gets boring rather quick.
 
I liked GTA 3, I do not like Postal 2. Postal 2 isn't fun, the missions (if you can call them that) are sub-par and the weapon selection sucks.

The load times are caused by going to another part of the map and are marked so they don't happen on accident. I wish I knew how to speed it. Maybe more RAM or a better cpu?

 
I think I only have a P4 1.6 with 512MB DDR PC2100 RAM, GF2MX and Dell 1900FP LCD.

Time to upgrade me thinks.
