This thread is meant to help other people out, make their lives a little easier. :)

A couple of my favs are in Firefox, to create a new tab, simply double click on the currently active tab. To close a tab, middle (scroll) click on it, and its gone.

that's not a normal keyboard ;)

for those who use the mouse on their left hand, it may become a pain in the ass to let go of the mouse to use ctrl c or ctrl v. Fret no more - Ctrl + insert to copy, Shift + Insert to paste. proven to increase productivity by no percent (but it's much less frustrating :D)

Good Call. I forgot to mention Ctrl-Page Up and Ctrl-Page Down switches between tabs.

Is there a difference between Windows + D and Windows + M? One shows desktop, one minimizes everything.

yup. if you press windows+m more than once, it does nothing. if you press windows+d more than once, it'll restore you windows to where they were. :)

Windows D shows desktop AND restores all your windows if you hit it again. Windows M does not. Which would YOU use for efficient at-work neffing?

I have middle click bound to minimize the current window.

That way I can hit that and viola! Outlook is up and I'm reading e-mails.

I use to have outlook as part of my wallpaper. no one ever looked close enough to notice that it always looked the same :D

I like it because it's obscure... windows+[pause/break button] = system properties

The only time I ever use that button :p

ALT+0178, handy since I tend to write X800 GTO² a lot.

Also been getting a lot of use out of ALT+0186 recently too.

As for actual functions, I would die without Windows+R.
