I've been OK. I've been feeling the stress of three classes and nearly full-time work in order to not fall too far behind.

Stuff like that. The GF has been doing the same. We haven't been seeing much of each other lately, but we're both working on finals (at different schools) and should both be done for the semester this week. What a relief that will be--and when we get together, what a RELEASE, too!

No marriage plans yet, though.

Actually, I took the pics just for fun to document my weight loss. However, I took the first one after 7 weeks (lost about 20 lbs in that time period) and the changes after that aren't very different.

hzl eyed grl- The pic was taken in my art class last year before the school year ended.

I changed a lot. I lost weight, shaved (beard coming back), no longer wear glasses (contacts now) and cut my hair (hair growing back of course). I no longer look like that. I do not have any recents pics of me though.

My body is far from perfect, but I was feeling good today and had my mom take a few pics of me.

Nice... red is a good color for you. More people need to realize that there are very few 'perfect' bodies out there, and that perfection is highly subjective. I think I need to lose about 40 pounds, but everyone tells me I look great, and that I carry the extra weight well. The most important thing should be making yourself healthy and happy. What others think is either irrelevant, or icing on the cake.

You think you need to lose 40 pounds. If this is true everyone else doesn't want to hurt your feelings or they are in the same boat and want to feel better about themselves.

You are right though my opinion is irrelevent.

Not so. I am about 6'2", and have quite broad shoulders and chest. Most people would look at me and not realize that I need to lose that much weight until they see me without a shirt on. It's all gut and spare-tire that I need to lose.

Haha, I know exactly how you feel. I'm the exact same way, 6'3" and very broad shoulders. My arms are pretty thick too, but man my spare tire really is huge. It is kinda nice though, to be fat and still look kinda good, isn't it? (With a shirt ON anyway). The worst part is tho, my gut is eating my wiener.
