I would be interested in the source for that plot. If that was generated from survey data as I expect then the axes are likely off by a decent amount. This is because men lie about their size, so women have a poorly calibrated reference point. I'm at work at the moment so looking up data would be a little inappropriate, I'll try to remember when I get home. A quick check would be to compare the open survey response values to actual measured values for male size.

Oh and I am quite content in the B section.
