my rendition

So far this has been a lot of fun. Dezign et al, thanks for the encouragement. One thing I've noticed is that my wacom tablet is a piece of crap. Admitedly I bought it on ebay for $15.00 two years ago. This thread has provided enough fun that I'm seriously considering buying a real tablet that doesn't get stuck around curves.

Waiting for some more good pictures to do.

Amazing work Mr. Macdonald.. I must ask, how old are you? I don't mean that as an insult.. Your work is truly stunning and I wish you the best career wise.. It's good to see that there's so much talent in this city (I live on the same island as you, although they call this section Queens)... Maybe if I make it as a film maker I can hire you if I ever need some rotoscoping done? ;)

First off .. I "wish you the best" not "hope you the best".. Damn A.D.D. and my inability to complete thoughts properly! 22 here as well, though not nearly as talented.. I've seen waking life - awesome movie (and your work reminded me of it, that's why I mentioned rotoscoping)... While I'm not in the field (more into making low budget, "lo-fi" indie dramedies), I've always found animation and different integrations of film and art fascinating.. There's this new french movie coming out soon that looks amazing... You should check out the work of Peter Greenaway.. He doesn't make animated movies but his integration of film with art and music is stunning (check out Prospero's Book...An odd, plotless yet beautiful take on the tempest by shakespeare)
