I'm pretty surprised that no ones using the pure messenger widget with a clear background.

If your using a dark unfussy background it gives you an awesome scrollable list of all your emails, txts, facebook/twitter updates, call history, etc...

Its a pretty good use of one of your homepages.

Be aware that theres some arsing around with unlocked gmail APKs since Gmail locked their app.

i looked at it and it looks nice, but personally i don't want everything listed together


friend of mine at work uses 1 home screen and a scrollable dock bar + swipe actions. its actually a really clean setup as the only buttons on his screen are the 4 or 5 on the bottom dock

My wife has hers set up so that her work email account goes to a widget on one homescreen and all her personal stuff goes to one on another.


Yeah I love the scrollable dock on Launcherpro, the ADW one is not bad either.

It's just a piece of junk Cruz T301. I got it from Woot for $70. That a good price for a tablet. I'm not sold on the form factor, or the O/S, but it's definitely worth that. I've used it more for hacking on than what it's meant to do. It has a MIPS processor, so a lot of apps aren't compatible. My next project is to learn how to compile apps from source to work with MIPS. Hopefully I'll learn something, and maybe learn enough to develop for the platform. There's a lack of libre apps for Android, and I'd love to fix that :^)

That screenshot looks HORRIBLE.

Why would anyone want a picture of a smartphone on their smartphone? The Windows logo...just because you can? Ugh.

Even if you really love how an iPhone looks, that picture is poorly photoshopped (the "reflection") and the proportions aren't WAY off.

and how do you ppl get screenshots of the homescreen... seems like it's a 1-click thing I'm not figuring out?

Also, how do you people tell right away it's ICS? I just got onboard so not familiar with older versions.
