Running WinXP Pro:

P4 1.6A, Crucial PC2100 256Mb(1:1, 2-2-2-5), IBM 60GXP 40G 7200

CPU Score(P4@2.4, 150fsb, 1.575V) - 5615
Memory Score - 5247
HDD Score - 665

---------------------------------------------
CPU Score(P4@2.5, 155fsb, 1.6V) - 6056
Memory Score - 5523
HDD Score - 689

This seems to stress the CPU pretty well. I can run Prime95 and 3DMark2001SEfor 12+ hours @2.5 with only 1.575V, yet PCMark would cause a reboot every time without upping to 1.6V.

<< That appears to be 3DMark2000. Not 2K1 >>

It is but what I'm trying to say is look at the scores,a voodoo5 and a PIII couldn't get that kind of score.I didn't fake it the program just puked and there the score was.Maybe the top score with a Celeron was a new program that puked😉

Could be. But go back and look. Now people are getting 40,000+ scores. But you are right in a way. Mad Oinion has admitted that there are serious bugs in the proggie.

What's the big deal with all these PCMark and 3DMark threads, it obvious that the results don't translate into real world performance. 3DMark, SiSoft, Sysmark, and PCMark (among others) are all pretty much useless.

It's kinda fun😎

[*]It's something new
[*]"mines bigger than yours"
[*]Madonion!! 🙂

<< That depends furor...At 140fsb on my board I can run a 4:5 ratio and thus I am running 350mhz ddr or slightly above pc2700 states, thus my bandwidth score in sandra are at 2600...MOst iwll boards are not pushing that when running 333mhz ddr...

Edit: Did you rerun it with all that crap turned off??? Maybe it will get better....

Yes I did..my new scores are messed up, because I scored LOWER with cpu, little higher in memory, and bit higher in hard drive..but I have the #1 score for AMD Memory performance and i'm only using a thunderbird..

200 Points higher than all AMD Thunderbird/Athlon XP's memory score, but owned by 99% of P4

CPU: 2141
Memory: 3229
HDD: 534

Running a T-bird 750@770 (5.5x140)
512MB PC2100 RAM, running at 266FSB
Shuttle AK35GTR
WD 30GB 5400rpm HDD

CPU: 3954 (1.4ghz T-bird @ 1512)
Mem: 3224 (crucial pc2100 default settings)
HDD: 792 (seagate x15 36lp)

really thought my scsi cheetah would've posted better numbers?

I picked up a Shuttle AV18E MB combo that included a Celeron 1.0gA chip for $89 the other day at Fry's. Looked around for an eval on the MB and found very little about it. Thought about just returning it as I would have preferred a 815EP based Motherboard rather than a Via Apollo Pro 133A. I decided to give it a try and just put it together a little while ago, and much to my surprise it actually seems to be a nice little board. Got the CPU running at 1.33g at default voltage and got these results:

PCmark 2002:
CPU 3361
Memory 1586
HDD 158 (Old 6G DMA33 Western Digital Drive)

Sisoft Sandra 2002:
CPU 3685/1793
Multi 7284/9043
Mem 1015/989 (256 MB PC133)

Setup right now with an 8MB PCI Matrox Mill. 2
an old 6G WD UDMA 33 HD
and 256MB PC133 SDRAM
