Engineer - I went to college for mechanical engineering technology (4yr B.S. degree program), but most of what I've done thus far has been electronic design and programming PIC chips.

This is what I do....but I do more of the hardware end (I do not touch PLC programming at all...and I would not want to...I am not even sure how you program in ladder logic) and I work on the industrial and municipal side. The company I work for tend to make people like Engineer unemployed...sorry man.
