got BAs in English Lit and Sociology last May.

I'm thinking about starting classes for an MS in Technical Writing in the fall, if I can come up with the cash.

BS in Business Information Systems

Haven't found squat yet in around 4 months of searching. Finding a place in the IT workforce is harder than entering Fort Knox these days.

BS in CS.

I could go back and take another year and a half or so of classes and get two more BS degrees in IS and Environmental Science, probably with minors in buisness and biology or chemistry, respectively. Suffice to say that in addition to the stuff needed for my CS degree, I've got quite a few "extra" credits 😛

Nate

my latest was a BS in CS...however, with 7+ years in Science, mostly biological, but also some engineering my professors wished I got my MD or PH.D in pharmacy.

Degrees are not over rated though in some professions (as they are required, engineering and medicine being the main ones), I lost my mark seeking one while my younger brother skipped that became a CTO for the largest private ISP in the three states around him, an editor for Cisco Press, all Cisco certs through CCIE in one year, CISSP, plus having a separate 7 figure a year + company he owns...

he is in school now....made straight A's in 12 hours of core computer science. He did 4 years in the Air Force during Desert Storm (or shield) and they are paying for it.

all I can say is my brother just kicks ass.

it is 28F here... but yesterday, i was in pennsylvania, and it was 10F. cold!

(and i got a BA in compsci. yes, that's a BA. kbye)

Dropped my major so gonna start all over again and hopefully to get BS in either Industrial Design or Interior Design.
