kinda pissed too, had the car mostly de-snowed and just as I was about to leave I get the phone call that work was canceled for the day.

You can't watch TV if your dish is covered in snow? Does it freeze and cannot move/track? I never knew this about modern dishes.

You can't watch TV if your dish is covered in snow? Does it freeze and cannot move/track? I never knew this about modern dishes.

Cool, I just turned the TV on to see if it would work and I was actually able to get a satellite signal after all. I guess I just couldn't get one last night while it was snowing heavily. Works fine now, even with the clouds and snow and ice on the dish.

You can't watch TV if your dish is covered in snow? Does it freeze and cannot move/track? I never knew this about modern dishes.

They don't move, but sometimes a buildup of snow/ice and interfere with the reception.

No pics, but I drove from Columbia, MD (leaving around 2am) to Stratford, CT and let me tell you, the worst of it is up this way. The roads are just snow with some dirty tracks and my car is covered and shitty dirty snow.
