I'll go with that "Everybody in the club gettin tipsy" song. Fucking trash. Oh, and that "Soulja boy" song too.

Your Beautiful, James Blunt My god I hate that crap
Smoke on the Water, Deep Purple (sorry I lived next door to a garage band and that seemed to be the only song they knew)
Umbrella/Diamonds, Riahna

I smoke two joints in the morning
I smoke two joints at night!
I smoke two joints in the afternoon
It makes me feel alright!

I smoke two joints before I smoke two joints....

really? what's to not like about this modern classic?
:hmm:

That's a cover (and a bad one at that). The original is by the Toyes.

It's been the KFOG Friday 5PM - weekend start-off song for probably 30 years.

Yeah, that version by Sublime is pure dogshit :hmm:

This was written as a reggae song.

Beck likes to enjoy his chemicals as well.

Actually, I only like a couple Beck songs.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YgSPaXgAdzE

Cant find the other one.

Jackass?
Ramona?
Lost Cause?

Jury is out on whether or not he's a douche, but I love all 3 of those songs.

I was gonna put something godawful like Brokencyde - Freakxxx, but no one actually listens to that.

I have been spared Call Me Maybe (am aware of but have never actually heard it), but that damn Taylor Swift NEVEREVEREVREVEREVER song was recently inflicted on me, and it made me want to kill on the very first listen. It quickly replaced that awful Gangam Style song, which is ultimately just more cliche tripe, and par for the course for pop music these days. Anything autotuned is next on the list.

Barbie Girl by Aqua. I spent two weeks in South America at the height of their popularity. It was being played ad nauseum in every cab and store down there. Makes me want to claw my eardrums out to this day.

For those who don't remember this slice of schlocky 90s horror.

I'm pretty tolerant when it comes to music (even vapid pop music), although I'll turn off any song that uses autotune for anything other than an obvious artistic effect.

However, if I had to pick one song that absolutely makes me cringe, it would be What's Up, by 4 Non Blondes. Good lord that song is bad.

My vote goes to Killing Me Softly by The Fugees.

man i used to own the UB40 album with red red wine. it also had the cops theme song "bad boys"...sunglasses at night, wrapped up in your love. pretty good album! srs! I never bought it though, someone left it at my house or something. regardless, that was some good mood-makin music for my high school ladies.

"Bad Boys" is an Inner Circle song, not UB40.

wow, I was totally wrong in my post. Inner Circle is the album I owned. and it had nothing to do with UB40's red red wine. good call.

will.i.am - Scream & Shout ft. Britney Spears

Terrible song. Hmm, how do I describe it... Britney spears puts on a terrible British accent while everyone repeats the same lyrics 500 times to a loud bass beat. It is like the bastard child of techno.

Meh. That song doesn't really do it for me, but as as far as club songs go, I've heard worse.

Now, you say that you don't like songs with the same lyrics repeated 500 times to a loud bass beat? Well, sir, let me introduce you to Nicki Minaj - Stupid Hoes. If you can watch this entire video without raging uncontrollably, you're a much stronger man than I.

And this is coming from someone that actually likes techno :p

<insert Nicki Minaj song here>

I can't stand the voices she does, it's such a gimmick. There are a ton of (lyrically) terrible mainstream rappers out there, but her songs are annoying. I can tolerate a couple of the tracks she's featured on (like "Out Of My Mind"), but not "Super Bass".
