Wow you're hardcore...

HoP: so that would be 6600gt, 6800gt, 9500pro? 😉 Didn't like the 6800gt?

Switched a 939 pin NF4 SLI board so I could, some day, get a dual core processor and run SLI if I chose to without needing a new board or fresh install. It was time to get a MB solution I wouldn't feel inclined to fiddle with for a couple years so I could get a permanent config going with my audio gear etc.
ah, roger.

Bob: very similar to my current machine. 2700 ram and the 9800 - same chipset but asus instead of ecs. My wife's rig has been running for 3+yrs now with 100% stability on an SiS735 ecs board. ECS and Shuttle are probably the most impressive i've found so far. Gigabyte and Biostar are the other manufacturers i've tried. Won't be going with the former again, Biostar are great.

Bleh: how's the x800xl?

X800xl is running like a champ. Its the powercolor vivo edition with the external power connector. Right now im running at 425 core and 525 memory.

In order over the span of many years.

Paradise 256K VGA card
Diamond Stealth 64 + Voodoo 1
Asus TNT1
(maybe a GeForce 1?)
GeForce 2 DDR
Hercules Prophet II Ultra (GeForce 2 Ultra)
Hercules Prohet III Geforce 3
eVGA GeForce 6800 Ultra AGP
eVGA GeForce 6800 Ultra PCIe SLI x2 <<== current setup

Also won (the chance to purchase) a 6800 Ultra Extreme Edition AGP card that I got after I got SLI and didn't care about it anymore (go figure)

So it's in my fiancee's machine.

I may have had a Geforce 1 I dont remember.

Nothing against ATI, I was going to get a 9700 and then a 9800 to replace that GF3 in a new system build but never got around to it, and by the time I finally built a new PC the 6800 Ultra is the card I ended up getting.

MSI Geforce 6800GT 256MB
PNY Geforce4 ti 4400 128MB
Dell Geforce2 MX 200 32MB

No, I'm not a geforce fanboy, I was going to get a 9700, but i didnt have the money at the time, so I waited until the current generation of cards.

ati 9800 non pro, current main pc
voodoo5 (still in a pc)
ati radeon 32mb ddr retail (first radeons)
voodoo3 2000
voodoo2 12 mb, single

ATI 9800XT
ATI 9800 Pro
Nvidia Ti 4200
Nvidia GF3
Nvidia GF2
Nvidia TNT
STB 128 (just before STB became or was acquired by Nvidia)

Still have every one of those vid cards, plus a couple more, like a PCI ATI card.
