I'm at work right now and my home speeds are a little more modest.

This is on the 30mbps plan with Cogeco. They don't have Speedboost.

I actually do get 30mbps when I am hardwired, but there are about 30 wifi signals showing up in my wireless manager so wireless gives shit performance due to interference. I really need to get a 5GHz router.

Updated with hardwired. That wifi test was taken just a few feet from the wireless router, so that really shows you how congested the 2.4GHz band can get and how badly performance can be affected.

So, note to all people: TURN DOWN YOUR TRANSMIT POWER ON YOUR ROUTERS. YOU DON'T NEED 70+mW ON A HOME ROUTER.

About what you'd expect since I'm paying for 10Mb/1Mb. I can get faster but don't really need it...

Just pick a different channel.

That's with a small business account with frontier. Can't get cable at the house.

If I had a regular home account, I could only have up to 3 Mb down for $65 a month.

Small Business account costs me $93 a month after taxes.

Fuck monopolies and Telecoms who screw their customers.
