I live in the city..

But really you need to include the surrounding county as the City is very small in comparison to the county as a whole...no part of Greenville County takes more than 20 minutes to get to the center of the city...

So really there's about a half million people floating around my area. Of course I'm almost never there with all the work I've been doing in Europe this year...but that's the way it goes.

I didn't think my place had a higher population than yours but man that's small. But our pictures truly relate more to boonies, no?

My hometown is too small to qualify, I guess. So I'll post the nearest town that has a page on there:

Edit: found it!

Hey, cool. Did you get a Clemens grant to UofO?

My hometown - Text

The Clemens Foundation scholarship was for any post-secondary school, not the UofO specifically. I used it for LBCC and OSU. 🙂 They've changed the rules since I graduated, though my spouse used up his last year on the Clemens grant in the late 90s, when he went back to school (you get four years, he had used 3.) They used to have a special scholarship for kids who went to medical school (perhaps also some others like vet or law school, I don't remember) that went beyond 4 years, IIRC.

Have you seen the movie that was made by a kid who grew up in Philomath, that was about the Clemens Foundation fiasco? http://www.clearcutmovie.com/ My great-uncle ran the foundation before that crap happened.
