ok i'm having problems here.. my ibm 75 gxp 30gb got these scores

access: 13.1
burst: 1.8 mb/s ??

i don't know what's going on.. someone's post said 2000 has lower scores, but i can't think that they're THAT much lower. i'm thinking that maybe somehow ata/100 isn't enabled or something. i'm running on a iwill kk266, if anyone can help me out, i'd appreciate it. thanks

Why am I getting such HIGH CPU utilization? 36%!! Ack! What could be causing this? Here's exactly what I've done(hardware in sig):

Create Array usin 16k block
FDISK
Format using this command: format c: /z:32

Boot to win2kpro cd (with hpt370 dirvers)
Installed win2kpro with "current file system" (fat32)

Installed via 4in1 1.29beta

Installed HDTach(registered)
Here are my test resuslts:
Results

How can I reduce CPU utilization? Thanks in advance.

It doesn't seem that I've done anything different than anyone else. At least from what I see. Can anyone see what the heck I did wrong...if anything? Thanks again.

Dunno... I've used two 27.3GB WD Experts on a Promise FastTrak66 before. I didn't have high utilization, but the transfer rates were kida pathetic. Barely above a single drive.

Zero,

There are a number of posts above with high CPU use, one is mine. I use a SCSI setup so there is no way it is that high. I dont think it mesures the CPU Utilization right! Im not the only one that feels this way.

"THIS TEST IS UNRELIABLE-
The scores I just posted would change dramatically the more I ran the test.
CPU Utilization eventually goes to 0%".
