progressive is stuff like Dream Theater, Nevermore, Pink Floyd, Death, King's X, Opeth, or Porcupine Tree. but the term is too broad, just like any sub-genres of rock. Death is an excellent progressive death metal band, and so is Opeth. if you want virtuosity, Dream Theater's got it.

LZ I was at this concert in One of five shows in '77 someones crappy boot leg here

no cookie needed...Two years earlier, '75, I was 15 row center stage a Long Beach arena much better concert .... $17.00 a ticket for a two hour concert....
