They put "Cars" by Gary Numan on that list. Numan had at least three decent albums and toured all over the place. One hit wonder? Don't THINK so!

Cardigans have so many hits there's no way they are one hit wonder.

Like....?

I'll list some nice old school list from 90s:

Do You Sleep- Lisa Loeb
Move it Like This - K7
I wish - Skeelo
As I Lay Me Down to Sleep - Sophie B. Hopkins

my favorite game.

Look at how many albums and singles they have.

honestly i love some of their other songs too but they're just not popular in the US somehow.

That's the one i was going to mention... i love that song 🙂

I suppose technically it may be true, but i never considered Red Rider or The Church as one-hit-wonders, as they both have several very good songs/albums.

There are quite a few "one hit wonders" on that site that are FAR from one hit wonders... I just noticed Stanley Clarke/George Duke... they were huge in jazz for quite a while.

not to mention twisted sisters.

local H - bound to the floor
ratt - round and round
camouflage - that smiling face
paperboy - ditty
young mc - bust a move

And the best one is......

Matthew Wilder - Break My Stride

"Ain't nothin' gonna break my stride
Nobody's gonna slow me down, oh no
I got to keep on moving..."

By a band called "Red Rider."

Anyone remember this outstanding one hit wonder from the 80s?

After 20 odd years I still love this song.

The song "White Hot" is off that same album. (I own it) and it got major air-play as well. Also, I don't know if I'd call this a one-hit wonder as This was Tom Cochrans band and he's had many other hits under his own name.
