Post your favorite Johnny Cash tune.

I am not a country fan by any means but Johnny Cash gives me a laugh.
Two great tunes are:

One piece at a time --- ROTFL, it's about a guy who steals parts and builds his own Cadillac over a number of years.
A boy named Sue --- LOL, you can guess this one.

One Piece at a Time is a GREAT song. The description of the car at the end is hilarious.

My favorite is Ring of Fire, I think. Great song.

Also, his cover of Sixteen Tons is alright, but nowhere near as good as the original.

Big Iron, got a cool old western story thing going for it. I'm not very familiar with his music other than that.

More Cash tunes with a bit of humor;
Cocaine Blues
Frankie's Man, Johnny
Oney
Busted
Blistered

Other good'uns;
I Walk The Line
Cry, Cry, Cry
Daddy Sang Bass
Wanted Man
Folsom Prison Blues
Hey Porter
Guess Things Happen That Way
The Long Black Veil

I was actually listening to One Piece at a Time as I noticed this thread, it's probably my favorite of his, although 'Singing in Vietnam talking Blues' is a very touching song.

I got it one piece at a time and it didn't cost me a dime....

49...50...51...52...53...54...

These are the ones I like:

Ring of Fire:

"I fell into a burning ring of fire....." LOL. I keep thinking of Homer Simpson going to hell when I hear that song.

Tennessee Flat Top Box

I Saw The Light

I have listened to Johnny Cash since I was a kid, "Five Feety High And Rising" "Daddy Sang Bass" "Man in black" "Ring of fire" are at the top of my list, I know the words to each song, but the first time I heard "Hurt" I was floored, "Hurt" is my all time favorite J.C. performance.

Here is a link to the "Hurt" video

Spiritual
most depressing song ever (previous thread)
If you think of the time in his life when he sang this its painful.

My kids and I had been listening to his music a lot in the year or so before he died. Just after he died, I was listening to "Let the train blow the whistle" and realized he was singing about his own death (made me cry a bit). My kids like Rock Island Line and Cry Cry Cry the best. What is both funny and disturbing is hearing my (then) 3 year old daughter sing "but I shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die".

Thats what I mean by "Spiritual" Its beyond depressing. I told my wife I want it played at my funeral to gaurantee no dry eyes in the house.
