Aug. 29: James now is listed as doubtful for Friday's preseason game against New Orleans. The running back continues to recover from knee surgery and is expected to be ready for the start of the regular season.


Aug. 29: James won't play in Friday's preseason game. He hasn't had a setback in his recovery from knee surgery, but the team just does not want to risk playing him in a game that does not matter.
Fantasy Spin: James won't play until the season starts, so it's hard to tell how effective he can be. It usually takes a full year to recover from ACL surgery, so James might not be at full speed until November. Target him late in the second round.

Your WR's are outstanding, but Aaron Brooks is no slouch Fantasy wise and Michael Vick could sneak in and put up some numbers. You will live and die on the success / injuries of George and Barlow. I personally think Barlow is going to have a great season, but that is why they play the games...
