I think the problems were primarily with the All-In-Wonder cards, and ATI released a driver fix today for them that supposedly takes care of it.

I've had great luck both in single player and multiplayer. Great frame rates and awesome graphics.

BBA 9800 Pro
Cat 3.8
Barton 2500@3200
Asus A7N8X Deluxe
1G Corsair 3200

It's taken awhile to get used to it (coming from MOH), but so far I really like it. It's more realistic.

- Excellent :) Although, at the beginning of the first map I realized 1600x1200 with 4x AA and 16x AF wasnt really a possibility
- Turned the AF down to 8, and turned the resolution down to 1024x768

3.9

i started the game using the 3.6's and they worked great. the only thing i noticed was when i changed the texture settings to 'extra' i had problems. although i just tried them again and things worked perfectly.

i run at 1280x960x32@100hz with 4xaa and 16xaf and every other driver setting maxed except truform is off.

the game is great.

I had some problems....first I can't run the game with the cd...I had to get an no cd patch....I got the ole cd error message....second after I got it to run it locked up at the car chase.....I read around and found that if I turned off fast writes and went to agp 4x instead of 8x it worked fine and so far no other problems.

If anyone has any ideas on how to run this with 8x and fastwrites and get the cd to work please let me know.

System Specs.

Ati 9800 Pro (was using cat 3.8's then went to 3.9's...maybe that was the lock up problem)
Epox 8RDA3+ Nforce 2 mobo using onboard lan and sound
Barton 2500+ oc to 3200+
Corsair XMS Extreme RAM 512 MB
Win XP Pro SP1 w/ all updates and hotfixes
Direct X 9.0b
LiteOn 52x32x52
Western Digital Raptor 36GB

oh yeah...if i use eax machine gun fire sometimes goes silent or skips...figure it's cause i'm using onboard sound

No video Problems

I run 1024x768, 2xAA 8xAF with no video problems at all. The game rocks. I was addicted to RTCW:ET but this is leaps and bounds above it.

I use an AOpen Cobra 850d Deluxe with optical outs to a HT receiver. With audio using EAX it sounds awesome but I get grenades that sometimes don't make sounds. No problems with machine guns, just grenades.

ATI Radeon 9100 (64mb 64bit low-profile vid card)
Cat 3.9 (Also used 3.8, no problems with graphics with either driver set)
nForce 3.13 chipset drivers (the 2.45 drivers caused problems on my ASUS A7N266-VM/AA mobo)
AMD Athlon XP2200+ CPU
1 gig PC2100 ram

I had some problems with audio in most of my games with the nForce 2.45 drivers. The newest 3.13 drivers have solved all those problems though. Other than that, the game ran very will on my computer. I had my graphics settings at 1024/768, but didn't mess with many of the other video features.

Problem: Horrible glitching on the first russian level, once I got off the boat, there were huge tears in all textures, and random polygons appeared in the air.

Then again I didnt install the patch, which im about to now.

Radeon 9800SE
Catalyst 3.8

Ran multiplayer fine. In single player, it locked up during the American car chase sequence once. Then on the British boat mission, it froze every single time. Turned off fast writes, and had no problems finishing the game.

Looks fine, frame rates OK, but I get moderate stuttering like I used to get with UT2K3 with old Catalyst drivers. Fast writes off.

I don't know why everyone complains about it so much. It runs great for me on every game I have tried, even Halo, set at 1024x768 everything on max.

I do overclock it some... default is 324/270, and I push it up to 400/315
