Today was car-washing-day so I figured it was time for a photo. My roommate has already left or we'd have an 04 IS300 in there too.

The wheels will be gone soon. To be replaced by a nice set of M-Pars with some grippy tires. 😉

Origonal Paint has faded to a point where it looks like primer and people ask me what color I'm going to paint my car.

Sorry to go off topic - but what's the difference between a B18B1 and a B18C1? Is the C1 the VTEC? The wife's Integra has a B18B1.

Can I include my dad's barn? Thats the driveway in winter here in upstate NY...

-1929 Ford Model A
-1952 Chevy Sedan (in pieces, being restored)

IIRC.. B1 is from the LS/GS while the C1 is from the GSR which has VTEC. C5 is the Type-R.. what little I remember fro my Honda days.

Pretty much this, the c5 has a slightly higher compression ratio, a raised redline of 9k, and a more aggressive intake or exhaust cam(niot sure which). I accidentally rev'd my engine 2 years ago well into the 9k range and the car has been fine, but probably wasn't a real good thing to do.

I did the b18c swap after the b18b1 died at 242k. I've noticed that I got consistently about 33mpg with that as opposed to 31mpg now.
