Heh, you spent all of your money on the computer, lcd's, and speakers, there was no money left for a desk 😛

oh no, i have a desk at home. I've been in this room for like amonth, temp place till i graduate.

Here's my at-home setup. Two things bad about it: 1) the keyboard setup/height and 2) lack of writing space. I'm sure I'll get a real computer desk and/or a flat-pannel monitor when I get a job and move out.

It's called Photoshop --> Save for Web. Come on now... you even have a PS7 book right there on the shelf. 😀

NICE setup BTW. I was shopping for office furniture after I moved in and MAN were they expensive. I ended up with mine for free thanx to my brother and his job. I can't imagine spending $500+ for a desk... I had no idea they were so much.

Thanks, This desk was only $100 at Staples on sale from $129. They still have them (not sure if on sale anymore), and a lot of others at pretty good prices. Of course they are all made of Sauder and O'Sullivan pressboard stuff.

I saw a desk for $200 at OfficeMax... came almost as complete as the one in your pic... but it wasn't sturdy at all...

I got the same desk, it's nice!!!

Had to raise the middle shelf over the monitor to get my 19" to fit though. I see you took your bottom shelf out which would have worked too I suppose.

Yeah, that was the same dillema I had, lol. I had considered moving the top shelf up, but then I would have had to measure and drill and it just seemed like too much work. (my laziness in effect again) 🙂

The only problem I have with it is the computer shelf, because I just built a new rig and the case came with a window and LED lights. So no one gets to see them :frown: I can't put it under the desk because I wouldn't be able to access my drives easily enough and then I wouldn't have room to put my shredder, UPS, and parts bin. Oh well.

Other than that, it is a nice sturdy desk with plenty of room.

Shame you just missed it by a few days. The NCAA mens volleyball championship was last week. Watch one of those games. If you haven't changed your mind, PLAY against some of those guys(I played against last year's NCAA MVP, he went to my high school). Then you will understand. Mens volleyball != girls volleyball && != gym class volleyball. It is a totally different sport.

Got the computer on the side of the desk. If I had more room to the left I would move the computer sideways to show off the window but my entertainment system is there 🙁

BTW, that's a bottle of BIOFREEZE, not lotion you pervs 😛
