i know i'm bringing up an old thread, but would my sempron 2600+ running at 2ghz be bottling my performance in HL2?

shouldn't be too bad, i've noticed that bartons at 2.5 and 2.6 were needed to run hl2 smoothly (and even then) but that a 1.8 ghz 939 was more than capable, 2-2.2 should be more than enough

Well I guess my previos FPS scores are bogus, since the 6800GT I was running did'nt suport 6XAA.

I just fineshed a new system build wich do's suport 6XAA

All tests run with settings at high
watter reflect all
VS off
Anissotropic at 16X

Here are the results

212.74fps @ 1024x768 res, 4X Antialiasing
208.52fps @ 1024x768 res, 6X Antialiasing

206.01fps @ 1280x1024 res, 4X Antialiasing
200.64fps @ 1280x1024 res, 6X Antialiasing

i have a hard time believing this scores....and you are certain your AA and everything works ? But then....i think it should be ok...~100fps single GPU makes 200 FPS SLI...

Whow....nice !

its a 7800GTX beats two 6800gt's in benchmarks.
