I used to get 400 @2.8ghz, and now a couple years later I bump to 2.9ghz and double the ram and get 355 now... Weird!

Going by Points Per MHz there doesn't seem to be much difference between these Intels (if CPU MHz is accurate) and scores may be more influenced by memory timings/chipset latency?

Horey shet, im going to break that record of the 2600K after I eat some coca crunchies. My 2500K does 5.4 no problems, under 1,45v.

EDIT - Out of coca crunchies but its OK..........we had magic stars

I could have done it with considerably less volts, but i didnt want to have to reconfigure the voltage, that means more time spent running at the high voltages. Usually it takes 1.45v or lower for me to get 5.4

I should have worded post #211 differently, that list was only based on the "points per MHz", and had nothing to do with top ten scores, sorry.

Okay, did a clean run and got 634. Thought it would improve by more than that, but there you go.


EDIT :

Actually in doing a number of re-runs, I keep getting 633, so dunno why it won't do 634 any more.

Also when I checked CPU-Z, it turns out my CPU is running at 4.021Ghz, so . . . . .
